Friday again and presentation again.hahaha. Today Has and Tiqah will present because they not present at previous class. They take so long time to finish their slide. So another group cannot present today and game for Has and Tiqah presentation will do next class. oh, I forget to give know their title for presentation is simple present tense and simple past tense.

Today class we not learn anything but we watching movie. For the first time at UiTM in class we watching movie. The movie we were watch is TAKEN. We all enjoy with that story because that movie not to boring and many thing we can learn from that story.

After watch movie Miss Zu ask we to do introduction assay about that story. Still has home work.

non-linear text to linear text again

Evening class.
Today miss ask us about what we have study before which is non-linear text to linear text. All of us still do not understand about it. Then miss thought us again then. Miss Zu give some exercise to see what we understand. As usual Miss Zu divide us to group and she want us write the non-linear text to linear text. We were able to understand it better than before.  She want us to do presentation about non-linear text to linear text
 after the holiday.


Night class.
Tonight is replacement class. Miss Zu want three group to make presentation but only two were come. Has and Tiqah not coming for their presentation. For Farah and Asmidah, they were presenting about present and past continuous tense. while Amira and I were presenting about present and past perfect tense.
So as usual I not focus in class because I not like grammar.

act and sing

Today we must act again but not only act but must sing. So we must act and sing at the same time. Like usual Miss Zu will give us group and make activity with that group. Miss Zu gives us chose an articles for our acting.

My group get article about “obesity”. So we act about effect of obesity. That act was interesting and I like this activity.

So I enjoy with this activity.

fact and opinion

Today we learned about fact and opinion.

Fact is something that has been stated and has evidence. It cannot be change.

While opinion is a feeling, judgment, belief or conclusion that cannot be proven true by objective evidence.

As usual, we were divided into 5 groups. Each group was given one item that they have to sell. To attract people to buy their product, they must give 5 statements that consist of fact and opinion. The other groups should guess how much fact or how much opinion they had stated. Each group had done their best to make the other group confused to guess.

 And we end our class.

Like last week, this week same like last week because two groups will present their presentation. For first group will present today is group Aizureen and Farhah. After that group Aiman and Rahman.

The title for Aizureen and Farhah group is pronouns. For Aiman and Rahman are articles,conjunction and preposition.

Today we was learn about how to writing a linear text and non-linear text. This type of writing will be one of the final examination questions. Miss Zu creates a formula to use when we want write a linear text and non-linear text.

Miss Zu give us some practice to we know how to write a linear text and non-linear text. As usual Miss Zu give group and we must doing in group and present that writing.

DEBATE

7 January 2013

Today we learn about how to we improve our confident level when speak at the front. We must debate with our friend. As usual Miss Zu will give group. Group one will against group two same with group three and group four. Miss zu explain about debate more detail to we understand how to debate.

Group one and Group two titles:

"Is it considered cheating when your partner (girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife) was checking on other beautiful girls/boys?".

Group three and Group four titles:

"Is it true that men are easy to work with and more creative than women especially when it involves group work?"

I in group three so our title is "Is it true that men are easy to work with and more creative than women especially when it involves group work?".

I do not know what I was say in that debate.hihihi

Presentation

Friday is presentation day so two group will present their slide. Group will present their presentation is group Mai and Aisyah. Another group is Azreen and Shahindah. Mai and Aisyah will present about ADJECTIVES and Azreen and Shahindah will present about ADVERB. That was grammar presentation. I hate grammar because it makes me stress because to many rule we must follow to avoid our essay look like okay.

I enjoy with their game. I think their game can I manipulate to my presentation.

After this class I must go to CSC class. My mood was running because programing will make me feel dizzy. So good bye BEL class and welcome to CSC class…hahaha

New Year

Why Johor not take new year holiday??? Today BEL class at 8.00 a.m and I feel so sleepy. So not enjoy in class because I want sleep at room. ACC class will be after this class so after 12.00 I can sleep at room. That time to long so I must avoid from sleep in class.

Today Miss Zu just taught us about contextual clues, reference words and how to find main idea in essay. Miss Zu explains about that but I not focus in class. After Miss Zu explains she gives us group. So we have group must Miss Zu want make some activity. Today activity is we must find main idea in clip video that Miss Zu shows to us. No groups win in this activity.

First day after mid-term and bell class at 4.00-6.00 p.m.. It makes me feel boring and not focus in class because I still feel holiday mood. Maybe Miss Zu know we all feel boring so Miss zu make some activity at class. Activity today is we must act. We must act one part of P.RAMLEE film and we take film ' Pendekar Bujang Lapok ' ending part. My group members are Aizureen, Fatin Izzati, Fatin Najihah, and Azreen. We must translate the dialog into English. It bit difficult to me but I try to do the best. I do not know what I want comment about our group act. But after the act Aizureen become famous and almost get title best female actor but Seha win that title. For the title best male actor gets at Adli. We all happy and forget about holiday mood.hahaha.

SKIMMING AND SCANNING

Today we had learned about skimming, scanning. Do you know about that? I don’t know actually until Miss Zu explained it to us.

‘Skimming’

 Skimming is the process of quickly identify the main ideas. There are a few tips for better skimming, which is read the document or report quickly, only the main point; read the first and the last paragraphs using headings, summaries, read the headings, sub-headings and illustrations, when seeking a specific information, consider reading the first sentence of each paragraph, and take note of any italicized or boldfaced word or phrases. Skimming works well for finding dates as well as names of people and places. It is also useful for reviewing graphs, tables and charts.

‘Scanning’

Scanning is a reading skill used to find specific information quickly. There are a few tips for better scanning which is look for the author’s use of organizers such as numbers, letters, steps or sequence such as first, second or next; selectively read and skip through sections of the passage; use headings any other aids that will help you identify which section might contain the information you are looking for. Try to anticipate how the answer will appear and what clues you are looking for. Look for words that are boldfaced, italicized or in a different font size, style or color.  Do not read everything in detail, look for key words or concentrate on certain parts during examination!.

INTRODUCTION ESSAY

Assalamualaikum...

Today Miss Zu taught us to write an introduction for essay. First she explained about 'The Hook'. Then, 'The Transition'. Lastly 'Thesis Statement'.

'The Hook'

The hook is the beginning when we write an introduction that phrase used to attract people to read the essay.

'The Transition'

The transition is the phrase that use to connect the hook and the thesis statement.

'Thesis Statement'

Thesis statement, we must write the main idea for the topic to make readers know what is the essay talking about.

There are seven kind of hook such as personal example, quotations, facts, rhetorical, question, current events, and definition.

After Miss Zu finished, she wants us to choose our group. Aiman Danial and Haziq Fidaiy were my group members. Miss Zu gives us a title which was 'GENDER'. So, we must wrote an introduction using the title. Our group must write fact essay about that..

Friday class. Today class 2 groups must present their presentation. Maybe some students not like do presentation (include me) because they must talk in front and they must make something interesting at their presentation to get highest mark.

 Today Jiha, Nad, Syazz and Wawa must present their presentation. I think their presentation not to boring because them has make interesting game. But something their present I not understand because I not to focus when they present. Maybe that time I thing about CSC class.
